She has worked in Corporate America for over 30 years. Her passion and forefront in mind are to always help encourage and motivate women through Self-Love & Self-Care. She is known as the “Heart Healer” and “The Love Doctor” through her work in the community as well as in business. She specializes in the principles of love in relationships, love languages, connecting singles through their inner hearts, self-care, self-love and connecting the dots to living your best life. She also specializes in 1:1 relationship coaching, singles and married couples.

She provides group sessions regarding love, self-worth, and mental health. She believes in getting results and her track record speaks for itself. Benita has been mentoring and encouraging women in her community and daily life through coaching training and philosophies that she has developed over the past 30 years. It is her heart’s desire to see every woman win. Benita walks by faith and not by sight for she believes that God will always be able to show you the way even in the darkest of moments. She is the owner and creator of A Unique Heart. This company is the cultivation of all the passion and effort that has been put together to build a company with the environment of not just female empowerment but self-love and realization. In 26 months, Benita has taken her company from an idea to being a household name throughout the city of Houston, 94 cities, 26 states, and 4 countries with no PR firm, strictly by networking and referrals. She is now known as a well-respected businesswoman and a solid member of her community. One of The Love Doctor’s key product is called “Love in A Box” was developed during a time of realization that time for oneself in our daily society is lacking. Without self-love and reflection there is a lack of growth.

Another one of The Love Doctor’s signature products is her book called The Self-Love Journal that she self-published. It was developed to help women rediscover their self love, self-worth, and self-actualization for themselves.
She was awarded with a Proclamation declaring an official day to be named after her business “A Unique Heart’s Self Love Day" by The Mayor of the City of Houston, Sylvester Turner.

She was honored with The Woman of W.E.A.R.T.H Award by The Woman's Earth Global Community in December of 2018. She also won the cover of Women Building Wealth International Calendar and Magazine. She received (2) 2021 Power Couples Award from Divine Creations & The Amber Neal Show along with her husband. She was honored with The Deborah Arise Award by Boss Babes Who Pray in June of 2021 She was honored with the Black Diamond Excellence Awards by Sam Mac Entertainment in November of 2021. In December of 2021, she was the Recipient of “The White House” Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
